Dr. Schehlein is the author of multiple articles in high-impact journals, as well as book chapters. Her research in glaucoma is focused on cost-effectiveness, environmental sustainability, and surgical methods. She is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, American Glaucoma Society, Women in Ophthalmology, and the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery.
